Description
This exhibition catalog meets in two distinct parts: Zaire millennium and contemporary Zaire. The first part provides information on the one hand, its ancient art, archeology, and also on the bottom Zaire funerary art and folk art Bandundu and its various ethnographic arts (Kuba and Pygmy) and finally his music. The second part, meanwhile, presents a series of contributions related dialogue between Central Africa and the West, literature and Zairian painting, the impact of traditional and popular art, and finally daily life.
