Description
One of the greatest museums in the world devoted to anthropology and archeology, The University Museum of the University of Pennsylvania mark its centenary in 1986-1987. The University Museum has a long record that stood for research, expeditions, exhibitions and publications, and its collections dramatically increase the Philadelphia cultural resources. Among its treasures, it presents one of the first significant collections of African art in the United States, and that is how the Philadelphia Museum of Art is pleased to join in the celebration of the Centenary of the University Museum with an exhibition of African sculpture, which is a broad survey of these farms.
