Published on the occasion of the exhibition “Mestach the African”, organized by BRUNEAF association. This exhibition presents for the first time in Europe 111 objects considered masterpieces of African Art ritual of the collection of Martha and Willy Mestach. Exceptional first because it has a unique opportunity to discover, or rediscover, a set of mythical objects, each common denominator “Eye” Willy, that unique look of a precursor became perhaps despite himself , father and inspired many collections. Then exceptional because it is the culmination of a journey, of a life of meeting strokes of luck and reds of shots, thoughts that premis the artist to finish his work collector with thr Us pay tribute through this exhibition. Finally exceptional because it is the representation of the confidence in our BRUNEAF by a combination of the greatest collectors of his time. The “Mestach the African” exhibition will allow many to understand and probably “efleurer of” the world of Willy Mestach makes dialogues with objects that often lead it to its “World of Dreams”. May this exhibition revive the dream that lies within each of us.
