Published on the occasion of the “Sculptures Miniatures‘ exposure Rees Diepen collection of African art at Berg en Dal Museum. The exhibition catalog accompanies the enjoyment of visitors by means of the “Three Portals of Knowledge” of African arts. The first is the portico of Western rationality, the secret of the meeting of African arts and then allows the visitor to cross the bridge that leads to the second gate: the art and the sacred.
